El pasado 9 de octubre, Thomas anuncio su propio casting en Rusia.
El show comenzara la proxima primavera (Europa) de 2010 y Thomas sera el presidente del jurado. Las primeras preselecciones se haran en diferentes ciudades rusas. Luego, el final del show sera transmitido en vivo desde Moscu. Entre 40-50 millones de expectadores tendra el aguardan este show.
Thomas dijo que su gran popularidad en Rusia, es la razon de su nuevo trabajo. Un viaje a Rusia sin guardaespaldas no es posible, porque El es el unico artista que dio 10 conciertos en Kreml.
Este nuevo casting de Thomas, ya tiene antecedentes similares en Alemania, como el show de Dieter Bohlen, llamado "Deutschland sucht den Superstar"; y no sorprendio que Thomas tenga que dar algunas declaraciones sobre ello. Tambien Thomas confeso que sera mas educado y serio que Dieter Bohlen. Ademas dijo que no va a producir ninguna nueva banda, porque no tendria tiempo para el. Sin embargo, se veria beneficiado por ganacias provenientes del show y de la banda.
Thomas en la entrevista, dio una exclusiva, sobre su nuevo album. Parte de sus canciones seran grabadas en Rusia! y el lanzamiendo de su nuevo album sera la proxima primavera del 2010, en este pais.

On October 9th Thomas announced his own casting-show in Russia!
The show will start in spring 2010 and Thomas will be the head of the jury when members for a new girl-group will be searched. First a few pre-castings will take place in different cities of Russia. Afterwards, the final shows will be broadcasted live from Moscow. 40-50 million people are expected to watch the show!
Thomas said that his great popularity in Russia is the reason for this new job. A trip in Russia without any bodyguards is not possible and he is the only artist in the world who gave 10 concerts in the Kreml.
As the new casting-show shows similarities to the German casting-shows of Dieter Bohlen it was no surprise that he had to give some statements concerning this topic. And so Thomas confessed that he will be more polite and serious than Dieter Bohlen. Furthermore, he said that he is not going to produce the new band. There wouldn't be enough time for him. However, he will benefit from any money earned due to the show and band!
In the interview Thomas gave - as a side-effect - further information to his new album! His songs will be partly recorded in Russia, too! The release of the album will take place in spring in Russia.
